Yes. Depending on how many lights you have on the line, and the wattage of the bulbs being used, a thicker gauge will work better to keep all lights consistently bright. If you find that lights at the end of your run are more dim than at the beginning, we suggest using a thicker gauge wire, and perhaps a multi-tap transformer to compensate, such as the ones in our Multi-Tap line.
